This half-day course offers meaningful information about how to prepare for your baby after birth and delivery, how to create a home environment to support infant development and create secure attachment. This course recognizes the massive change that occurs when a baby enters into a new family and the huge shift that happens for the parents.

Our playgroup classes are designed for children ages 2 - 20 months and are 1.25 or 1.5 hours long. Our parent-child playgroups are created as beautiful spaces for you and your child to come, play and connect with other children and parents. These classes focus on creating a supportive community where parents can engage with their children in a respectful and enriching way. Parents come together as a community over our 8-week sessions, with one of our facilitators supporting them at every stage of their parenting journey.

We provide three different parent-child classes based on age and developmental needs:

Parent - Child Music Classes

Along with an accompanying caregiver, children meet weekly for a 45-minute class and enjoy singing, moving, listening and interacting socially, and playing simple instruments. This class incorporates current research on early childhood development and provides families a special place for learning and connecting with other parents and babies through music and movement. With a blend of multi-level (newborns, lap babies, crawling babies, and walking toddlers) activities that include creative movement, vocal play, object and instrument exploration caregivers gain insights about their babies’ unique development.
