  •  Montessori Model United Nations

Our Level 6 children have been working for months to prepare for their Montessori Model United Nations Conference in New York City.  MMUN's mission is to promote and encourage understanding and acceptance of the world's people, cultures, beliefs and values, by creating conferences that model The United Nations and other international forums.  Not only will our children be presenting and defending their position papers for the country that they represent but they will also be doing it from the United Nations Assembly in NYC.  Thank you to everyone who helped fundraise and and a hand in their success.  A huge shout out to Kathleen and Terrence for putting in the extra time to make this experience possible for the children.  Here are some photos from their trip so far.[gallery ids="31899,31900,31903,31904,31905,31908,31913,31916,31918,31919,31920,31921,31922,31923,31924,31925,31927,31928,31929,31930,31931,31932,31933,31934,31935,31936,31937,31938" type="slideshow"]

During your 20-minute visit, they will show you some of their favourite Montessori jobs and/or some of their favourite pieces of work that they have completed or are working on. This is always a very exciting day for the children as they have the opportunity to invite you into their Montessori worlds.  This event is reserved for parents only.  We ask that you refrain from taking your children with you at the end of your observation as it is disruptive to the routine of the day.
